Division 9 had a good first week back. We had our 110th day of school, this provided a great math learning opportunity. Many students thought after 109 it would be our 200th day of school, while others were convinced that it would be our 1000th day, a few children did realize that 110 came after 109. Hopefully they are all starting to understand the concept of place value.
We switched tables groups, started making 3 D Easter eggs for our class tree and saw an awesome cultural presentation 'UZUME TAIKO'. This Japanese drumming was very enjoyable. Today Amanda brought Girl Guide Cookies to share with the class.
The students are excited about Easter coming next week.
