HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH! This morning we talked about how some people are superstitious and think that this is an unlucky day but we decided we were all going to have a lucky day!
Firefighter Bob and Firefighter Craig came on Wednesday and did a fire safety presentation. We learned about fire safety. We know that we shouldn't ever play with lighters or matches, to never hide from a firefighter, that we should keep low by crawling, check the door to make sure it isn't hot and get out of a building quickly and meet outside at the planned meeting spot.
We read the book the "Dumb Bunnies" and it was really dumb!
In Math we have been studying place value and next week we will start some new stations which we are all excited about. Ask me about the Place Value song we sing during calendar.
Next week and for the next month we will not have sharing, instead we are starting our Scientist of the Week. See monthly calendar for the list of scientists.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18th is not only our Open House at 12:45 p.m. but it is also CAREER DAY. We get to dress up as what we want to be when we grow up! There is also an early dismissal at 1:20.
