We brought home our 'Traveling Teddy' bags on Monday. Hopefully everyone's stuffy will be able to go on a vacation and then we will start receiving postcards. Thanks once again for your support with this project.
Wednesday morning Ms Rowledge-Toscani went to a workshop so we had Mrs. Sheridan as our TOC. We had a good morning and played lots of neat tag games during gym and she showed us a cool Halloween light show on U-Tube.
This is what Division 9's mural looked like for the Remembrance Day Assembly. Our Canadian flags surrounded both sides of this dove that said People Everywhere Around Canada Enjoy PEACE! We all feel very lucky to live in Canada. John McCrae, the author of Flander's Field is our new Canadian Hero. We learned that he not only was a poet but a doctor.
This week #1 Canadians were Amanda, Grace and Riley. We enjoyed their presentations.
Today we went outside for nature exploration. We used our senses of sight, hearing and smell to find different things in the forest. It was really fun plus we discovered lots of natural objects. We had an unusual day as we had our calendar at the end of the day.
Hope everyone has a great long weekend. Remember there is no school Friday or Monday.
Needed: paper towel and toilet paper rolls Thanks!
