It's Pajama Day!
Our #1 Canadians this week were: Kaiden, Keegan, Krystel, and Ian.
We have been practicing our Christmas songs for our concert, today I brought home in my Literacy Folder, copies of the songs we are singing.
We explored different ways plastic frogs could move. When we did an experiment we learned that even when we had 2 different sizes of frogs they both landed at the same time. This was because they both weighed the same. Keegan tried to see how long it took a piece of paper to fall, you should try this too.
We got a bag of new books, it is my 'JUST RIGHT READING', these need to come back to school every day!
We have been in school 50 days! Max our caterpillar grew today.
With our big buddies we made posters for the toy drive, we put them up around the school they look great! We are also making announcements to remind everyone to bring in a toy or a money donation. We are hoping that Little People Can Make A Big Difference!
Today we did blogging again with our big buddies and afterwards we got free time on the computer. ATTENTION PARENTS - YOU CAN NOW MAKE COMMENTS ON YOUR CHILD'S BLOG AND PUT YOUR OWN NAME, JUST REMEMBER YOU CAN'T BE LOGGED IN! If your child is commenting on another student's blog they need to be logged into their own account.
***OPEN HOUSE NEXT WEDNESDAY 1:45- 2:15 - PLEASE RETURN THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE ORANGE REPORT CARD ASAP! THE STUDENTS ARE EXCITED TO SHOW YOU AROUND THE CLASS AND TO SHOW YOU THEIR WORK.
