Family Reading started Tuesday and has been very successful, the students really enjoy having you there to read with them and look forward to the days that you are able to come. Hopefully we will continue to get enough parents. Thank you for your time.
We started our Community and Career theme, we brainstormed what we think we know about these topics, learned new songs (I will be bringing them home next week) and built word banks. Paulette Bourgeois is our new author, she is the author of Franklin books.
On Thursday we met our new big buddies from Mrs. Murray's class. In Math we explored different ways to make and represent numbers. We discovered that using ten frames makes it much easier to count.
We did the letter P so today as mentioned we made and ate popcorn in our pajamas! Lots of fun! At the end of today we changed where we sit in the class.
