Tuesday was Jump Rope for heart day and it was a big success.  Any pledges should be collected and handed in by Tuesday, February 28th.  Fairview - let's support the Heart and Stroke Foundation and give - remember every dollar helps to save lives.

Hundred Day was Wednesday.  We went to six different stations and really enjoyed them all.  We made 100 Day pennants, we did a variety of '100' exercises, we played bingo, we made 100 Day hats, we made and ate fruit loop necklaces/bracelets, and we read the book Alexander Who Used To Be Rich Last Sunday and did an activity on the Smartboard showing how Alexander kept spending his $1.00.  Our favourite activities were the Fruit Loop Necklaces and the Bingo.  We had some very creative 100 Day collection posters - great work Division 9!

Today we had our last School Wide Read of the month and we celebrated by eating licorice while we read.

Today we also worked on our community art project!

The materials we have used are Zoob, K'Nex, Gears and even books!

Reminder that Thursday, March 1 is Crazy Hair day.  It is another school spirit day to  raise money for the Africian well fund.  Tickets are $.50.
